Basic Networking Teaches You The Skills of Building Your List!

Learn and study basic networking skills so you can be effective at creating a list of people that will help you in the future. Your list is your biggest asset in business and in life and will prove invaluable for years to come as you are on your wealth building journey.

You need to learn some basic skills to start compiling your network list and expand your network once you run out of people to put in from everyone you know. It sounds like a simple process, but many people simply don't understand how to build a list.

You know a lot of people. In fact, you know a lot more people than you think you do. Right now you can probably think of about ten to twenty people you contact on a regular basis. Write them down in your Keep In Touch Program. Start with their name, address, phone number, and email address. Then add some information about them including their skills, occupation, education, lifestyle, and anything else that may be important about them.

These are the networking skills you need to perfect so you can establish a strong network. Continuing on to build your database and establish a network, you need to think deeper than those people who you contact on a regular basis. Your network is everyone you know and beyond. Basic networking is who you know and the people you want to know based on their skills, knowledge and abilities. Once you identify these people and businesses, you need to get to know them better so you can start to build a relationship with them.
