Captivating Headline That Draws People to Your Sales Letter!



A captivating headline draws people to your sales letter allowing curiosity to aid your marketing efforts. The more powerful your headline is, the greater the chance of having your marketing sales letter opened by your intended audience.

Headlines are a very important aspect of your marketing letter. They work hand in hand with your angle to entice the viewer to actually read what you have to say. A headline is your attention grabber and interest gatherer.

There Are Several Key Components to Creating Every Captivating Headline!

1. It must stand out in your sales letter. If you open a news paper, every title to every article is a larger and bolder print. This title or headline tends to capture your eye's attention instantly, and if it contains the right information for your interests that you can read within 3 seconds, it will force you to stop and read the article.

2. It must reach out to a specific niche. This is the easy part if you are involved in any niche market. The primary goal is to attract potential buyers to your niche related product or service. You are going to blend in niche attributes into your captivating headline in order to attract the proper niche.

3. It must contain a highlight of your angle or story. When you write a sales letter, your angle is what keeps the readers reading. But you must first get them to start reading. Without telling the whole story but touching on one of the most important aspects of whatever it is you are trying to pre-sell, you must present this to the reader in the form of a captivating headline.

With these three key components, your headline will naturally attract eyes to your advertisement. This is okay during a direct marketing advertisement because you can put a headline on the back of the envelope, but what about in an email? How do you get people to open your emails when they are flooded with hundreds of emails every day?

Well, when someone is in a niche, their eyes are looking for key words associated with their niche. You can use all or part of your captivating headline in the subject line of your email to instantly capture their attention to your email. Keep important key words about your niche in the first five words.

For instance, say you are in the golf niche and you are marketing a new club that is guaranteed to improve anyone's game. Your headline may look like the following:

"Amateur Golfer Out Swings the Pros and Significantly Improves His Game with New Titanium Club!"

In the above headline, it contains all of the key components described above. "Golfer" instantly centers in on the golf niche. Of course it is bold to reach out to the potential customers. This also highlights the angle of your story of how anyone can improve their swing by having an "Amateur Golfer improving his game."
