The Law of Attraction or the power of choice helps you achieve success by turning your desires into reality using a psychological approach of positive thinking. Likes really do attract likes if you really think about it.

When considering a route or path of success in your life, you must approach it the correct way in order to reach your destination in life. If you keep positive thoughts, establish positive goals, and have positive dreams, you will attain positive results in what you set out to accomplish.

The amazing influence known as attraction was extensively studied and written about in the early 1900s. Elizabeth Towne, the editor of The Nautilus Magazine, a Journal of New Thought, published Bruce MacLelland's prosperity theology book Prosperity Through Thought Force, in which he summarized the principle, stating: "You are what you think, not what you think you are." Napoleon Hill also published three books that repeatedly reference the Law of Attraction, one of which was Think and Grow Rich where he discusses the importance of controlling one's own thoughts in order to achieve success, as well as the energy that thoughts have and their ability to attract other thoughts.

This grand concept has not been widely advertised through school teachings due to its controversial metaphysical theories that can't truly be proven by science. However, a recent movie in the 21st century called The Secret (2006) consists of a series of interviews related to the idea of optimistic thinking so the theory is still alive and well in today's society.

So, how can knowing this law help you in your quest for building wealth? Well, you are trying to manifest your dreams into an equivalent reality. By thinking about your dreams in the right way, you can psychologically line yourself up with sure success.

According to the attraction law, if you are using the phrase "I need more money" as a goal, this allows you to continue to "need more money". If you want to change this goal to work in your favor, you would focus your thoughts on the goal having more money rather than the problem of needing more money. This might take the form of phrases such as "I do have more money" or "I will have more money" and can be used effectively with auto-suggestion.
