Pre-Selling Basics and Why They are Important!
What is pre-selling? As defined by Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary, preselling is to precondition [a customer] for subsequent purchase or create advance demand for [a product or service] especially through [effective] marketing strategies.
I added in a little bit of my own definition with it, but Wealth Building Principles defines preselling as an endorsement or non-selling offer for a specific product or service with the sole purpose of making a potential buyer aware of a product or service's benefits, at which time they can make an educated decision on whether to purchase a product/service or not with no pressure or sales pitch.
To understand the question of what is preselling, you must first do your research and find out what people within your niche want or need to make their lives better with regards to your niche. Just by understanding your own niche, you can judge what your niche area is lacking and gear toward those benefits.
Another great way you can figure out what people are looking for is to understand how people in your niche search for information, products, and services on the World Wide Web. Most people start out looking for information about something. The first place they stop is their favorite major search engine.
What does this sell without selling strategy have to do with how people use search engines? Well, most people are generally not looking to buy as they begin their search. They are just looking for information. Based on the information they find, they will make a purchase or not if it will help them solve a problem they have. If someone is fired up enough about a niche, they will most certainly buy your product or service if you talk it up enough.
This is the reason you do not just want to sell a product. You want to pre-sell products and services for the best results.
To better understand the question of what pre-selling is, now you can learn how to pre-sell your products or services.
