Primary Purpose is Your Ultimate Dream in Life!

Your primary purpose is the ultimate goal or dream you want to accomplish within your lifetime. This is that big dream that you've wanted since you were able to dream. To establish this ultimate purpose, you need to really dig deep within your mind to find the reason for which you want to succeed or the reason you want to become wealthy.

The reason your definite purpose must create a burning desire within you is because that burning desire is the very fuel you need in order to accomplish your purpose or goal in life. It must be so desirable and so wanted that you must have it no matter what.

Dreams are what your definite purpose is made from. Without dreams, nothing would ever happen. Otherwise, why would you want to live? Dreams are the things (material or otherwise) you want in your life that you don't have and can't easily have, otherwise you would already probably have them. Don't limit your dreams to just a few things that you can easily get without little effort, though they may still be dreams at this time. Open up your mind and imagination. Think of it as your exit point in life, where you want to be when you depart this earth.

If you are working at a job, your exit is when you reach age 65 and you will need two to three thousand dollars a month in order to live comfortably. But why settle for that! Why not want a monthly income of ten to twenty thousand dollars when you retire? You can have this if you really want it and set your mind to it!

You need to determine what you want in life before it can ever become possible. Whatever that is, make it your primary purpose. Everything you do from that point on in your life should be directed toward that primary purpose until it is achieved.

So, how do you determine your ultimate purpose in life? The first step is to take inventory of yourself. Write down everything you want in life. Write down the car, house, family, business, a monetary figure, boat, or organization you want to start.

Where do you want to live, where do you want to visit, who do you want to help, who do you want to serve, and when you would like to retire are some great examples of purpose. The list is endless and should be growing on a daily basis.

Take your first step toward success and start this process now. Determine your definite purpose now by writing down all of your wants and dreams in life. Do this free of distraction and with utter concentration. Once you stop, examine your list very carefully. Which one of these dreams is the one that means the most to you? Which want stands out from the rest as the one you desire the most? This is your primary purpose. It should have the most reason and value to your life. Circle it, make it bold, and make it stand out from the rest.

Once you establish this purpose in your life, you will have great direction and will be able to accomplish that ultimate goal in life by applying other success principles toward that goal.

As you continue learning the principles of success, you will see how your desires are molded into absolute actuality. Establish goals based on your primary purpose in order to get the ball rolling toward the finish line and your ultimate dream in life.
