A Sales Letter Helps Close the Sale for Your Product or Service!
Your sales letter is your most important marketing piece that will present your offer to all of your potential customers. It is crucial that you keep from adding a sales pitch within your letter such as "you must buy this product" so you don't pressure your potential customers to buy your product. All you need to do is give them the information about your product or service and let them make an informed decision to buy it. You are not selling a product or service, you are pre-selling it to the point that they WANT to buy it no matter what it costs based on what it will do for them. Most of the pre-selling concept goes along with niche marketing, niche products and niche services. Niche product examples would be Mary Kay's huge makeup product line or Nike's shoe lines. Do not sell your product or service! How confusing is that? Although the thought of not having to sell something is great, the art of pre-selling is sometimes a lot more difficult to master. Well, that is because it works better than selling and you must be able to perfect your sales letter approach. Pre-selling in a sales letter is the act of beefing up something so much that the potential customer has to buy it just because it sounds that good. It's called hype! Do not badger your potential customers with a sales pitch that says "Buy, buy, buy!" They will say "bye, bye, bye!" as they leave your website. Tell them "This is why my product (or service) is the greatest product out there and this is how it can benefit you!" It's all about the benefits of your product or service. People are looking for help within a niche, otherwise they wouldn't really be searching. Determining how you can help them in most of the battle. But once you determine where people need help the most, that is what you will concentrate on throughout your niche marketing efforts. Your email to your database can simply tell them to check out your product or service. Make them curious in the email so they have to follow the link to your website that has your actual sales page on it. Create two pages of content on your website, one to portray a strong pre-selling message and the other with your sales and purchasing information with a little more pre-selling. I hope this helps you with some ideas about promoting your product or service to your network of potential customers. This concept also works with free offers to capture visitors' information. Give them a sneak peak or a sample of a product or service if they subscribe to your mailing list. The approach you take can go any direction you want!
