Types of Emotions and Which Ones You Should Avoid!

There are several types of emotions you may experience sometime or another in your life, some every day and some a little less often. The combination of several emotional experiences will add great power to your desire to succeed if they are harnessed and used correctly.

There are seven major positive emotion that influence success:

1. Desire
2. Faith
3. Love
4. Sex
5. Enthusiasm
6. Romance
7. Hope

Of the seven powerful emotions above, sex is one of the most powerful emotion in the list followed closely by all of the others. Being able to direct the energy of any one of these emotional feelings can be a powerful asset in your path toward success.

On the other hand, there are seven major negative types of emotions that have the reverse affect on your path toward success (ie. failure):

1. Fear
2. Jealousy
3. Hatred
4. Revenge
5. Greed
6. Superstition
7. Anger

As you can see from the list of negative emotions, the reason my progress towards success was haltered was because I was filled with fear, jealousy, anger, greed, and hatred. Those powerful negative emotions overpowered the positive ones and made it impossible for me to succeed, only because I let them into my mind and let those emotions drive me.

Of all of the types of emotions that exist, the fourteen above are the most powerful. Positive and negative emotions cannot occupy the mind at the same time and either will mask the other to prevent its power from working. It is very important to keep a steady and intense flow of positive emotions running within your mind at all times.

You can constantly feed your mind with positive emotions through autosuggestion. If you ever start to get negative emotions filling your mind, immediately pull out your success statement and read it aloud a few times. You will see the immediate change in your thinking. Read it as many times as you need to in order to keep the negative types of emotions out of your mind. This keeps you focused and on the right track.
