What is Networking and How Does it Create Weatlh?
What is networking when it comes to building wealth? In a nutshell, a network is a web or group of people with whom you know, correspond with, and have built a lasting relationship with. Dictionary.com defines networking as a supportive system of sharing information and services among individuals and groups having a common interest. So, what is a network? A network can be anyone you know such as doctors, lawyers, friends, relatives, people you work with, the mail man, a store clerk, or any other person you know directly. You usually know how to contact this person using email, phone, mail, or in person anytime you need to get a hold of them. Your direct network, as described above, contains a vast amount of information and resources, things that you don't currently possess. Whether it is knowledge, money, or their personal connections they possess within their own network, you can tap into your network anytime you need to. You learned what is networking, now for a little bit of the power of networking that naturally occurs and expands your networking reach beyond imagination. Every person in your network has a network of their own. The connections associated with someone's network is known as your indirect network. This network is the people that you have access to through any individual or business in your direct network. In other words, these are the people you don't know, but you can contact them through your direct network by simply asking your network to contact them. This will be discussed more on other pages.
